Grand Touring

The Grand Touring Range (35 – 80m) redefines the future of the Sports Superyacht market. Ranging from 30 to 80 Metres in length, GTs are faster, more efficient, more stable and more spacious than traditional Sports Superyachts. They represent a fusion of cutting-edge technology, modern flair and timeless flowing curves, which will leave onlookers amazed at their stunning looks and in awe of their performance.

The bridge provides sumptuous lounge-seating for guests to relax in whilst sharing in the excitement of high speed navigation with breath taking panoramic views. The interior space and natural light is unequalled on traditional super yacht of similar size. The larger GT Gliders include a full-beam master suite with 270º panoramic views. The sky-deck provides a beautiful vantage point with an array of areas supported by the sky-bar ideal for entertaining, dining and relaxing.

The tender and jet skis are hidden, as is the crane for launching both with ease. All interiors are created fully bespoke to the owner’s specifications by our in-house designers and overseen by Client Build Liaison Managers, whose attention to detail in transforming each owner’s dreams and vision into reality is second to none. Flush mounted, thermo-bonded double-glazing contributes to the seamless clean lines and surfaces. Even the radar and satellite antennae are integrated into the design, to maintain the simplicity and elegance of the lines and in keeping with the aerodynamic perfection. The high-deck and very high-speed also places you and your guests out of reach of the paparazzi and pirates, whilst making the world your cruising ground. Due to Glider Yachts’ unique design, including the complete absence of bulkheads in the superstructure, a much higher degree of customisation is available than with traditional vessels.

Propulsion comes from two in-hull diesel engines, driving directional water jets to provide exceptional control and docking manoeuvrability. This facilitates silent departures and arrivals, with cruising speeds up to 30knots. Once in open water, engaging the high-speed diesels gracefully takes the vessel to over 40knots, with almost 3,000bhp available to effortlessly get to your destination, while retaining luxurious comfort.

Glider Yachts are a showcase of British engineering excellence, the result of seven years of Research and Design and are hand-finished by the very best craftsmen, using the very best materials available. The Glider Yachts GT Series’ 2,400nm range, cruising speeds and fuel economy are unmatched by conventional Sports Superyachts, and the comfort and stability at speed is unparalleled.

The end result is a vessel of superlative quality and unmatched performance, with the exception of its turbine-powered sister the SX-E Range.
